James M. Knox, President
James is a founding partner of XLK International, LLC.
Prior to founding XLK, James spent two years working with AlwaysCare Benefits serving their largest clients and developing the Benefit Administration System. He played an integral part in developing the Benefit Administration system and the processes for its continued use.
Prior to AlwaysCare Benefits James spent most of his working life in the insurance industry on the broker side of the business. He worked with clients of all sizes, from 2 to over 5,000 employees, ranging from State Governments to Physician Practices. He worked in group and individual products in both the Property and Casualty markets and the Life and Health markets. He had an emphasis in Professional Associations, Professional Liability, Individual Life and Disability, and Group Benefits. He has an expertise in Section 125, Benefit Administration Systems, Human Resource Information Systems, and corporate wellness. He has set up groups on many different Benefit Administration systems from 25 employees to over 10,000 employees.
James has a wide range of hobbies and a thirst for learning new things. You can usually find a Clive Cussler book in his car or briefcase, an ecclectic mix of Jimmy Buffet, Johnny Cash, and Mozart on the radio. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and shooting but does not get into the field as often as he would like due to our heavy work schedule. I travel often for work and for pleasure, including trips to China to visit my in-laws. Long weekends usually find him and his wife and son on the beautiful beaches along Route 30A (Destin, FL), taking a break from our hectic schedules.
